Blazing Trails 2: Blaze Harder

Back when I owned the C16, a friend and I used to spend quite a lot of time playing a game called Trailblazer (actually it might have been his C16+4).  When I got a Speccy, one of the games I ended up owning for it was... Trailblazer.  Later when I owned an Atari ST, guess what one of the games packaged with it was?  That's right, Trailblazer yet again!

The original Blazing Trails I played a while back and it was a pretty good remake / update on the Trailblazer idea (which is basically guiding a ball along a track as fast as you can without falling off, making use of avoiding the different squares that act as power-ups or downs).  The graphics for this sequel look pretty sweet, it remains to be seen what this laptop can make of it... (when I have the money I'll buy a proper gaming rig... can't quite see when that's likely to be though!!).

You can download it at RetroSpec.
