Forge: fan-made Loom sequel in the works

I actually only played the LucasArts adventure game Loom quite recently, and liked the idea of a "create your own verb" type interface (which is effectively what casting spells by means of musical notes was), and enjoyed the setting of the game, but was left a little disappointed with the brevity of the game and lack of answers to many questions raised in the plot. Apparently this was meant to be the first in a trilogy, which explains why there were so many unanswered questions, but the other two games never got made. The fan-base refuses to let this happen however and work on a sequel called Forge is currently in the works, and pretty impressive it's looking too.

Take a look at these lovely screenshots or check out the game's development thread at the AGS forums.
