Completed! - Robotz DX

It's become a slightly unhealthy obsession with me to complete this game, so perhaps it's a good job that I have done so now!

There's more to the completion screen but I'm not about to tell you what it is - you'll have to complete the game for yourself.

New High Score

And after realising Something Important to know about Robotz DX!... my new high score is 144970, reaching Level 24.  Still haven't completed the game yet though...

Something Important to know about Robotz DX!

I found out by chance - not sure if it's a bug or feature?! - something very useful to know when playing Robotz DX.  You get an extra life every 5,000 points, but between levels you can skip the animation of your little guy walking down the corridor and go straight to the next level - however doing this will stop your bonuses from being added to your points.  Since your bonuses are likely to add up to 1-2.5K points per level, that's a lot of extra lives you'll miss out on!

Yeah I know, it was probably in the documentation to begin with... but seriously, who reads the instructions before playing?!!? :-D

Top Ten Adventure Games

Over on my PC Gaming Blog, I've just posted Top Ten Adventure Games of All Time list (though I commissioned someone else to write it) - many great retro games on that list (Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and more...)!
